S’mores Brownies

I am going back to my roots with these indulgent chocolate s’mores brownies.

I love all desserts (that’s an understatement!), but chocolate holds a special place in my heart.

Fruit desserts are lovely but when I am feeling down, all I want is a big bite of some chocolately goodness. This is what I have here!

With a graham cracker crust (with mini chocolate chips), fudgy brownie, and a layer of toasted marshmallows these brownies are sure to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Strawberry Mascarpone Stack Cake

When thinking of desserts to make for Passover I came up with the traditional flourless chocolate cake. Cheesecake also came to mind (it was fabulous!), but I had been thinking about a meringue dessert and wanted to try something new.

I thought that I could do meringue cookies with cream and fruit, or I could try a meringue stack cake. The second option was definitely more adventurous, so that’s what I chose.

This Strawberry Mascarpone Stack Cake is the perfect dessert for strawberry season and happens to be gluten free!

Apple Rhubarb Pie

As I settle in and get cozy for this upcoming snow storm, I am excited to be sharing with you my newest recipe for Pi Day!

Together, these ingredients form a wonderful Apple Rhubarb Pie! Layered on top of a flaky all butter crust, this tart filling gains sweetness and fragrance from apples, rhubarb, sugars, and an array of warming spices.

Cookie Butter White Chocolate Chip Cookies

After truffles, blondies, coffee cake, and mini pies I have finally made it to cookies!

A few months ago I was looking for baking ideas and came across these Biscoff blondies from Sally’s Baking Addiction. Although I have always seen and heard rave reviews about cookie butter, I had never baked with it myself. This got me thinking and inspired me to create this recipe for Cookie Butter White Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Mini Chocolate Cream Pies

Growing up, when deciding what to bake my dad often floated around the idea of a black bottom pie. He would talk about how this was one of his favorite treats that his grandmother used to make.

Instead of a black bottom pie I decided to make one of its close relatives, chocolate cream pie! While large pies are delicious and perfect for a crowd, I always love to make handheld desserts. Thus, I wound up with this recipe for these mini chocolate cream pies!

Brown Butter Pretzel Peanut Butter Cup Blondies

Phew, what a long name, wanted to get all the ingredients in there! I know this is a few weeks late, but I wanted to sneak in a Valentine’s treat for my first post. You can find those amazing triple chocolate cookie dough truffles here.

When I was thinking of what to make for my friend’s super bowl party, I instantly thought of several all American snacks such as pretzels and peanut butter cups. Although this was a combination I had never tried before, I figured I would give it a shot.

Then I thought, what is the best canvas for this sweet and salty combination? Blondies! So there I had my recipe for Brown Butter Pretzel Peanut Butter Cup Blondies 🙂
